COVID-19: Helping Wildlife or Endangering Conservation?
While nature seems to benefit short-term from COVID-19 lockdowns, wildlife conservation is at risk. Loss of tourism revenue threatens ranger patrols, increases poaching, and reduces community support. At Loisaba, vital services like healthcare and education are tied to ecotourism.
