Veterinary Technician / Paravet
Loisaba Conservancy, in partnership with San Diego Zoo Wildlife Alliance and the Smithsonian’s Global Health Program, is recruiting a Veterinary Technician / Paravet to support wildlife and livestock health on Loisaba and across the wider Laikipia landscape. The role provides rapid-response support to injured wildlife, assists with disease surveillance, contributes to conservation medicine research, and participates in community livestock health outreach. The successful candidate will work closely with the Loisaba Veterinarian, supporting field interventions, laboratory work, sample collection, record-keeping, and equipment management.
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated Kenyan animal health professional passionate about wildlife conservation, fieldwork, and community impact.
