Recently I had the privilege of attending the UK premiere of Rhino, a groundbreaking new eco-thriller that dives straight into the frontline of rhino conservation, with Loisaba Conservancy featured throughout. Inspired by films like Jurassic Park and Batman, this movie pushes wildlife storytelling into bold new territory. It is not just a documentary or a drama, it is something entirely new.
What stood out most was the film’s focus on people. Not only the iconic animals, but the teams on the ground who dedicate their lives to protecting them. This is exactly in line with Loisaba’s ethos, people are the key to successful conservation. In Rhino, the rangers and local communities are not background characters, they are the heart of the story.
