Kenya is one of the world's leading countries for rhino conservation. This Saturday, 26 September, we are celebrating that success at the African Premiere of RHINO at the Trademark Hotel, Village Market, Nairobi.
RHINO follows the people working to protect one of Africa's most threatened animals. It shows the rangers who put themselves at risk against armed poachers, the vets and teams moving rhinos to new ground, and the conservancies making space for populations to grow. Their work rarely makes the headlines. On Saturday, it gets the big screen.
Meet the people behind the story
This is more than a screening. It is a chance to meet some of the people responsible for Kenya's rhino conservation success.
Our Guest of Honour, Prof. Erustus Kanga, Director General of Kenya Wildlife Service, will speak on Kenya's global leadership in rhino conservation and recognise the frontline teams protecting these animals. Loisaba Board Chair Sophie Kinyua will talk about the role conservancies play in giving rhinos room to recover. The film's director, Tom Martienssen, will introduce RHINO. After the screening, a Q&A and panel of leading conservation voices will discuss rhino protection, veterinary care and life on the front line.
Stay for the networking and you will be in a room with rangers, conservationists, scientists and supporters who share one goal: a secure future for Kenya's rhinos.

Doors open at 4pm. (We recognise some earlier tickets mistakenly printed 3pm - the correct opening time is 4pm)

Violence and threat: tension involving poachers, armed bandits and the physical dangers faced by rangers protecting black rhinos.
